Forest Lodges frequently asked questions

We offer selected 2 or 4 night mid-week breaks (Monday to Friday) OR a 3 night weekend break (Friday to Monday). We are unable to offer one night stays at the Forest Lodges.

All five of our Cheshire Luxury Forest Lodges have a hot tub, so you can relax and gaze at the stars surrounded by trees.

Pets are ONLY permitted in the Douglas and Nordmann Fir at The Hollies Forest Lodges. Pets are NOT permitted in Scots Pine, Grand Fir, Noble Fir and Norway Spruce.

(If you fancy a trip up to the Highlands, your dogs are welcome in all of our Highland Lodges)

Unfortunately we do not offer one night stays, however we regularly update our mid-week two night offerings. Get in touch with specific requirements and we will do our best to accommodate.

Our lodges are located as part of The Hollies Farm Shop at Little Budworth near Tarporley, Cheshire. Today, the site boasts a Butchery, Delicatessen, Takeaway & Gift Barn.  With such a diverse offering at this site, Little Budworth has become a real destination to shop, eat and sleep. Please use the postcode CW6 9ES when locating our site.

Each lodge has limited parking outside as well as additional parking close by. We also have a large car park with CCTV and overnight secured gate access for your safety and security.

We do not currently have an electric car charging station, however there are a number of options within 5-10 miles of the site.

We have our wonderful Hollies Takeaway on-site serving food from 8am-4pm, as well as lots of fabulous food in our farm shop.

You may also choose enjoy a home cooked pub meal at the Fishpool Inn about 20 minutes walk from site or the Fox and Barrel in Cotebrook a similar distance away. There is also the Pesto restaurant at Cabbage Hall which is just a few minutes walk from us.

We request noise be kept to a minimum after 10pm across the site to enable all guests to enjoy their stay.

Yes, we have free WIFI in all the Lodges

Yes, we ask for a cautionary deposit with your final balance, 4 weeks before your arrival date. This is returned after your departure assuming no damage or issues have been identified.

All lodges can be provided with an accessibility ramp, and all have walk in showers but are not specifically designed with accessible features.

Yes, we start decorating the lodges for Christmas from the last weekend in November.

We can often change the decor or interior of the lodges. Please note that the interior in the lodges may be subject to change between the time of booking and arrival. If there are any specific items required for your stay, please get in contact with our accommodation team.

Highland Lodges frequently asked questions

We are located near Dulnain Bridge, just a stone’s throw from Grantown-on-Spey. Please use PH26 3LY to find us in the heart of the Cairngorms.

We have a large, shared car park with CCTV covering all external areas for your safety and security.

We do not currently have an electric car charging station, however there are a number of free and paid for options within 5 miles of the site.

The team at the Highland Lodges love dogs, and for a cleaning fee of £40 per stay we allow up to 2 well behaved dogs. We do have specific rules regarding dogs staying on the house that must be followed. You can find these in our booking T&Cs.

Grantown and Aviemore have some great eatery options if you fancy a trip out, alternatively we do offer connections with several professional caterers, from pre prepared meals that can be delivered and cooked when you choose to a full dining experience for your group.

Through your own account you can arrange deliveries through most major local supermarkets such as Sainsbury’s and Tescos.

The Highland Lodges are ‘No Smoking’ accommodations. Please note there are penalties for smoke or burn damage.

The Glenmore self-catering lodge does have accessible features in the second bedroom such as open shower/wet room and all main rooms on one level.

Yes indeed children are welcome, and our two Highland Coo’s (Hamish & Dougal) love a gluten free oat biscuit!
