CHECKING IN & OUT
At The Hollies Highland Lodges, we strive to ensure that your stay is as comfortable and stress-free as possible. To facilitate a smooth check-in process, please take note of the following information:
CHECK-IN / OUT TIMES:
Arrival time is from 4pm, where the lodge will be left open for your arrival, and keys will be available for you inside the property. Please ensure you use the Lodge Gate for your exit and entry.
Please note check-out is 10am.
We are unable to facilitate late check outs at The Highland Lodges. Due to the size and luxury nature of our lodges, our cleaning team run on a tight schedule, and as such guests staying in the lodges beyond 10am impedes our ability to give our next guests a 5 star changeover.
Should guests be staying an unreasonable amount of time beyond 10am, guests may be subject to a late check out fee, as per our Terms and Conditions.
PARKING:
Please use the main car park as your priority parking, this can be found by following the signs around the site. For loading and unloading you can use the allocated parking spaces at the lodges. Guests with mobility issues and all those who are blue badge holders can use the lodge parking spaces as their main parking space. Please refer to the site map included in this brochure.
Our car parks are under CCTV surveillance, so you can be reassured that you can leave your car in the main car park without any problem.
FOR YOUR INFORMATION:
To ensure that all guests have a pleasant and comfortable stay, we kindly request that you adhere to the following guidelines:
• Check-out time is 10am, and we request that you leave your key in your Lodge as you depart.
• Please leave the Lodge in the same condition as you found it (furniture returned to its original positioning, cleanliness and rubbish removed).
• Please follow our guidelines regarding the use of the hot tub (if your lodge has one).
• Please respect other guests and keep noise to a minimum after 10 pm.
• Glitter or confetti are not allowed in or around the Lodges and hot tub.

In the event that you experience any breakages during your stay, please don’t hesitate to notify a member of our staff. We’ll be happy to replace any items during your stay where possible, and before the arrival of our next guests. Please note that any damages or breakages that are considered unreasonable (excluding general wear and tear) may be charged to you upon checkout or once the damage has been brought to our attention. In the event that any items within the Lodge are not working properly, please let us know as soon as possible so we can promptly repair or replace them. To ensure the safety and comfort of all our guests, our Lodges are thoroughly checked and serviced upon departure, in accordance with our Health and Safety Policy.
HOT TUB INFORMATION
We want you to have a comfortable and enjoyable time in our hot tubs, which are maintained at approximately 39 degrees Celsius for your relaxation. This is the optimal temperature for the tubs, plus this falls within the requirements of BISTHA (British and Irish Spa and Hot Tub Association). Please note that the temperature of the tubs will drop slightly once the cover is removed.
If your Lodge has decking, please be aware that it can become slippery when wet. We kindly ask you to exercise caution when using the area to prevent any accidents.
For your safety, we have established a few rules that we ask you to adhere to:
• No glitter or party poppers please.
• To prevent any breakage, kindly use only plastic cups provided in your Lodge, and please do not bring any glassware near the hot tub.
• Smoking is not allowed in the hot tub area.
• To ensure water quality, we kindly ask that you shower before entering the hot tub and remove any lotions, tanning products, and perfumes.
• Please do not add any products such as bubble bath, salts, or oils to the water.
• For your safety, please do not use the hot tub if you are under the influence of alcohol, recreational substances, or medications.
• For your safety, please do not bring any electrical appliances, telephones, or tablets within 5 feet of the hot tub.
• Children under the age of 3 are not permitted to use the hot tub. Children over the age of 3 must be supervised at all times and not be left alone in the hot tub area.
• The hot tub’s water temperature should not exceed 104 degrees Fahrenheit (40 degrees centigrade). We kindly ask you to limit your soak time to 15 minutes and cool off before re-entry for your safety.
• Please enter and exit the hot tub slowly and safely. Do not stand on the cover or tamper with the settings.
• You enter the hot tub at your own risk, and we kindly ask you to consult your doctor before using it if you have heart disease, diabetes, high or low blood pressure, or if you are pregnant.
• Failure to adhere to any of the rules may cause contamination of the hot tub, which may result in a penalty charge of £200 for excessive cleaning.
Warning: The hot tubs should not be used for 30 minutes after they have been serviced by Housekeeping usually around midday each day.
FREE WI-FI
We are happy to offer free Wi-Fi in every Lodge for your convenience. However, please note that there may be occasional disruptions to the service that are beyond our control, this is due to the remoteness of the lodges.

We kindly request that you use the bin provided in the kitchen area during your stay at the Lodges. If you have any excessive waste, we would appreciate it if you could place the bin bags into the wheelie bins located on site. Our aim is to recycle as much waste as possible, and we appreciate your support in helping us achieve this goal.
We have 3 bins in each lodge. All of them are labelled on the inside of their lids.
Waste separation and bags in the bins:
General waste with glass - black bag
Dry mixed recycling without glass - transparent bag
Food waste - biodegradable bag
Recycling area is located behind the lodges.
LOST PROPERTY
Please contact us as soon as you know you have left something. HEATING:
Glenmore Lodge has under floor heating inside and has wall mounted thermostats in each room and bathroom. We use set temperatures prior to arrival depending on the season and weather outside.
The living room has a wood burner.
OVEN:
The oven needs the clock to be set to make them operational after a power cut or switch off. The ovens are operated with the soft touch controls on their face panel. With the square symbol button, cycle through the menu until they reach the clock settings, then the time can be set with the +/- symbols.
