We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in The Grand Fir Lodge. It really is as big as it looks on the pictures. Very clean and comfortable and has everything in it you need. Buy some matches if you want to use the BBQ. Farm shop Fillet Steak was the best I’ve had. Had a take away food box from the cafe too, staff very welcoming and friendly. Hot tub clean and very private. The on site gift shops are lovely, we bought some Arran fragrance items after smelling them in our lodge, gorgeous….
We have been to the hollies a few times, but never at Christmas until this time, the setting outside was stunning, lights entwined around trees and bushes. Inside the Scot’s pine was just as beautiful with a tree and festive lights around the fireplace. The farm shop and shops were just as festive and magical with lights and music playing. We really enjoyed a relaxing time here over Christmas. Well done team hollies on creating such a beautiful setting at Christmas time.
